S70MD345 is an AS568-345 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.975 in (100.97 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.395 in (111.63 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, Silicone is known for excellent electrical insulating properties and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. It resists ozone and UV exposure, extreme heat and cold, and many oxidizing chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving concentrated acids or hydrocarbon fuels and oils call for a different compound.
