-347 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70MD347 is an AS568-347 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.225 in (107.32 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.645 in (117.98 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Silicone is known for an exceptionally wide service temperature range and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Expect good resistance to extreme heat and cold, weathering, and ozone and UV exposure. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Verify compatibility before use with abrasive dynamic service or concentrated acids.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include sanitary process lines, ovens and heated equipment, and electronics and electrical enclosures.
