-350 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

APG stocks the S70MD350, an AS568-350 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.6 in (116.84 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.02 in (127.51 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Silicone is specified here for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and excellent electrical insulating properties. It resists extreme heat and cold, weathering, and ozone and UV exposure. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Verify compatibility before use with steam above its rated range or abrasive dynamic service.

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in food and beverage processing, ovens and heated equipment, and sanitary process lines.
