S70MD361 is an AS568-361 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.975 in (151.77 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.395 in (162.43 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Silicone is known for excellent electrical insulating properties and very good compression set resistance across its range. This material stands up to many oxidizing chemicals, ozone and UV exposure, and weathering. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where steam above its rated range or hydrocarbon fuels and oils are present.
