-362 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70MD362 is an AS568-362 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.225 in (158.12 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.645 in (168.78 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to many oxidizing chemicals, extreme heat and cold, and dry heat. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is valued for very good compression set resistance across its range and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
