Ordered as S70MD363, this is an AS568-363 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6.475 in (164.47 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.895 in (175.13 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists weathering, dry heat, and many oxidizing chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is specified for very good compression set resistance across its range and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where abrasive dynamic service or steam above its rated range are present.
