Product Specification

-
Part number S70MD366 is an AS568-366 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 7.225 in (183.52 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.645 in (194.18 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Silicone is specified here for very good compression set resistance across its range and exceptionally wide service temperature range. The material holds up against dry heat, extreme heat and cold, and weathering. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C).

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across electronics and electrical enclosures, sanitary process lines, and ovens and heated equipment.

This item is sold individually under part number S70MD366. Check the compound against your process media, pressure and temperature before committing to a design. Not finding the exact configuration you need? APG cross-references from prints, samples and competitor part numbers.
