S70MD375 is an AS568-375 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 9.475 in (240.67 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.895 in (251.33 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists many oxidizing chemicals, extreme heat and cold, and weathering. Silicone is known for very good compression set resistance across its range, physiological inertness and low toxicity. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in steam above its rated range or concentrated acids.

This item is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include medical devices, ovens and heated equipment, and sanitary process lines.
