-381 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70MD381 is an AS568-381 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 11.975 in (304.17 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.395 in (314.83 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against weathering, dry heat, and ozone and UV exposure. Silicone is known for very good compression set resistance across its range and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Verify compatibility before use with hydrocarbon fuels and oils or concentrated acids.

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include food and beverage processing, sanitary process lines, and electronics and electrical enclosures.
