-382 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-382 red Silicone 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 12.975 in (329.57 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.395 in (340.23 mm), catalogued under part number S70MD382. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to many oxidizing chemicals, extreme heat and cold, and dry heat. Silicone delivers flexibility that holds at very low temperatures, physiological inertness and low toxicity. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where abrasive dynamic service or steam above its rated range are present.

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include medical devices, sanitary process lines, and electronics and electrical enclosures.
