Ordered as S70MD384, this is an AS568-384 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 14.975 in (380.37 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.395 in (391.03 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Silicone is specified here for very good compression set resistance across its range and excellent electrical insulating properties. It resists many oxidizing chemicals, weathering, and ozone and UV exposure. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C).
