Ordered as S70MD386, this is an AS568-386 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 16.955 in (430.66 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 17.375 in (441.33 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

It resists many oxidizing chemicals, weathering, and extreme heat and cold. Silicone delivers flexibility that holds at very low temperatures, physiological inertness and low toxicity. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where abrasive dynamic service or hydrocarbon fuels and oils are present.
