APG stocks the S70MD390, an AS568-390 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 20.953 in (532.21 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 21.373 in (542.87 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Silicone is specified here for very good compression set resistance across its range and exceptionally wide service temperature range. The material holds up against weathering, dry heat, and extreme heat and cold. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to steam above its rated range or abrasive dynamic service will shorten service life.

This item is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include ovens and heated equipment, food and beverage processing, and electronics and electrical enclosures.
