-403 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-403 red Silicone 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 1.725 in (43.82 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.275 in (57.79 mm), catalogued under part number S70MD403. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The compound resists ozone and UV exposure, dry heat, and extreme heat and cold. Silicone is widely chosen for physiological inertness and low toxicity, excellent electrical insulating properties. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in concentrated acids or abrasive dynamic service.
