-405 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

APG stocks the S70MD405, an AS568-405 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.975 in (50.17 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.525 in (64.14 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

It resists dry heat, ozone and UV exposure, and many oxidizing chemicals. Silicone is valued for very good compression set resistance across its range and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where steam above its rated range or concentrated acids are present.
