-424 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70MD424 is an AS568-424 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.35 in (110.49 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.9 in (124.46 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to ozone and UV exposure, dry heat, and weathering. Silicone offers very good compression set resistance across its range and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include pharmaceutical manufacturing, sanitary process lines, and medical devices.
