Ordered as S70MD428, this is an AS568-428 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.85 in (123.19 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.4 in (137.16 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Silicone is valued for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and very good compression set resistance across its range.
