-430 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

Ordered as S70MD430, this is an AS568-430 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.1 in (129.54 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.65 in (143.51 mm). The o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, Silicone is known for an exceptionally wide service temperature range and very good compression set resistance across its range. The compound resists dry heat, extreme heat and cold, and many oxidizing chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. Exposure to concentrated acids or abrasive dynamic service will shorten service life.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include food and beverage processing, ovens and heated equipment, and sanitary process lines.
