-434 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70MD434 is an AS568-434 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.6 in (142.24 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.15 in (156.21 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

This material stands up to extreme heat and cold, weathering, and many oxidizing chemicals. Silicone is valued for physiological inertness and low toxicity, very good compression set resistance across its range. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. Exposure to hydrocarbon fuels and oils or abrasive dynamic service will shorten service life.

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in ovens and heated equipment, electronics and electrical enclosures, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
