-441 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70MD441 is an AS568-441 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 6.975 in (177.17 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.525 in (191.14 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Silicone is specified here for very good compression set resistance across its range and excellent electrical insulating properties. Expect good resistance to weathering, many oxidizing chemicals, and extreme heat and cold. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving steam above its rated range or abrasive dynamic service call for a different compound.
