-452 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70MD452 is an AS568-452 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 11.475 in (291.47 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.025 in (305.44 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Silicone is valued for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and very good compression set resistance across its range. This material stands up to ozone and UV exposure, many oxidizing chemicals, and dry heat. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C).

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in ovens and heated equipment, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and sanitary process lines.
