-458 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70MD458 is an AS568-458 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 14.475 in (367.67 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.025 in (381.64 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

It resists extreme heat and cold, many oxidizing chemicals, and dry heat. Silicone is widely chosen for physiological inertness and low toxicity, an exceptionally wide service temperature range. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across electronics and electrical enclosures, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and ovens and heated equipment.
