-463 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

Ordered as S70MD463, this is an AS568-463 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 16.955 in (430.66 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 17.505 in (444.63 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Silicone is specified here for excellent electrical insulating properties and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. It resists many oxidizing chemicals, weathering, and ozone and UV exposure. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in steam above its rated range or concentrated acids.
