-465 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70MD465 is an AS568-465 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 17.955 in (456.06 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 18.505 in (470.03 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Silicone is valued for physiological inertness and low toxicity, flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. It resists extreme heat and cold, weathering, and ozone and UV exposure. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in hydrocarbon fuels and oils or concentrated acids.

This item is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include pharmaceutical manufacturing, food and beverage processing, and sanitary process lines.
