-468 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

Part number S70MD468 is an AS568-468 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 19.455 in (494.16 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 20.005 in (508.13 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to many oxidizing chemicals, ozone and UV exposure, and extreme heat and cold. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone offers very good compression set resistance across its range and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in hydrocarbon fuels and oils or abrasive dynamic service.
