Silicone is known for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. The compound resists many oxidizing chemicals, dry heat, and extreme heat and cold. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
