-905 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70MD905 is an AS568-905 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.414 in (10.52 mm), a cross section of 0.072 in (1.83 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.558 in (14.17 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to dry heat, weathering, and ozone and UV exposure. Silicone is known for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving abrasive dynamic service or concentrated acids call for a different compound.
