S70MD906 is an AS568-906 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.468 in (11.89 mm), a cross section of 0.078 in (1.98 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.624 in (15.85 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Silicone is valued for physiological inertness and low toxicity, very good compression set resistance across its range. The material holds up against extreme heat and cold, weathering, and many oxidizing chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Verify compatibility before use with concentrated acids or abrasive dynamic service.
