APG stocks the S70MD907, an AS568-907 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.53 in (13.46 mm), a cross section of 0.082 in (2.08 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.694 in (17.63 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.
This material stands up to extreme heat and cold, weathering, and ozone and UV exposure. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone offers an exceptionally wide service temperature range and very good compression set resistance across its range. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where hydrocarbon fuels and oils or concentrated acids are present.
This item is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. You will find this material specified across medical devices, ovens and heated equipment, and sanitary process lines.
Stocked as S70MD907 and sold individually. Application requirements vary, so validate compatibility with your process conditions prior to installation. If you need a size, durometer or compound that is not listed, APG can cross-reference from a print, a sample or a competitor part number.
