-907 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

APG stocks the S70MD907, an AS568-907 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.53 in (13.46 mm), a cross section of 0.082 in (2.08 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.694 in (17.63 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to extreme heat and cold, weathering, and ozone and UV exposure. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone offers an exceptionally wide service temperature range and very good compression set resistance across its range. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where hydrocarbon fuels and oils or concentrated acids are present.

This item is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. You will find this material specified across medical devices, ovens and heated equipment, and sanitary process lines.
