-913 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70MD913 is an AS568-913 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.986 in (25.04 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.218 in (30.94 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Silicone is widely chosen for very good compression set resistance across its range and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. It resists weathering, dry heat, and ozone and UV exposure. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Verify compatibility before use with hydrocarbon fuels and oils or abrasive dynamic service.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include electronics and electrical enclosures, sanitary process lines, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
