S70MD928 is an AS568-928 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.09 in (53.09 mm), a cross section of 0.118 in (3 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.326 in (59.08 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Expect good resistance to dry heat, many oxidizing chemicals, and weathering. Silicone delivers physiological inertness and low toxicity, flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where abrasive dynamic service or steam above its rated range are present.

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include electronics and electrical enclosures, food and beverage processing, and ovens and heated equipment.
