S70MD932 is an AS568-932 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.337 in (59.36 mm), a cross section of 0.118 in (3 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.573 in (65.35 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Silicone is specified here for very good compression set resistance across its range, physiological inertness and low toxicity. This material stands up to weathering, many oxidizing chemicals, and dry heat. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
