Neoprene (Chloroprene) is widely chosen for strong performance in refrigeration circuits, a balanced combination of oil and weather resistance. The material holds up against moderate petroleum oil exposure, mild acids, and refrigerants and ammonia. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
