Ordered as H50031, this is an AS568-031 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.739 in (44.17 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.879 in (47.73 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists petroleum-based oils, hydraulic fluids, and greases and lubricants. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, low compression set under sustained load. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in automotive brake fluid or ozone and direct sunlight.
