APG stocks the H50339, an AS568-339 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.225 in (81.92 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.645 in (92.58 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The compound resists propane and butane, water, and hydraulic fluids. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in polar solvents or ozone and direct sunlight.
