-006 BLACK BUNA 50D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-006 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A with an inside diameter of 0.114 in (2.9 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.254 in (6.45 mm), catalogued under part number H50006. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. The compound resists hydraulic fluids, propane and butane, and many alcohols. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving polar solvents or ketones call for a different compound.
