This o-ring is supplied in AS568-016 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 0.614 in (15.6 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.754 in (19.15 mm), catalogued under part number H50016. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. It resists greases and lubricants, many alcohols, and hydraulic fluids. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where strong acids or polar solvents are present.
