-018 BLACK BUNA 50D O-RING

H50018 is an AS568-018 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.739 in (18.77 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.879 in (22.33 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. It resists greases and lubricants, water, and petroleum-based oils. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving automotive brake fluid or strong acids call for a different compound.
