Part number H50220 is an AS568-220 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.359 in (34.52 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.637 in (41.58 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists water, hydraulic fluids, and petroleum-based oils. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ozone and direct sunlight or ketones are present.
