H50228 is an AS568-228 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.234 in (56.74 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.512 in (63.8 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, low compression set under sustained load. Expect good resistance to greases and lubricants, hydraulic fluids, and petroleum-based oils. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
