H50232 is an AS568-232 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.734 in (69.44 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.012 in (76.5 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, strong abrasion and tear resistance. The compound resists petroleum-based oils, water, and hydraulic fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving strong acids or ketones call for a different compound.
