-230 BLACK BUNA 70D O-RING

The H70MD230 is an AS568-230 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.484 in (63.09 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.762 in (70.15 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Buna-N (Nitrile) offers strong abrasion and tear resistance, an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. This material stands up to propane and butane, water, and greases and lubricants. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or strong acids.

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include automotive, agricultural equipment, and general industrial maintenance.
