H70MD234 is an AS568-234 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.984 in (75.79 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.262 in (82.85 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, strong abrasion and tear resistance. This material stands up to greases and lubricants, hydraulic fluids, and propane and butane. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving automotive brake fluid or ketones call for a different compound.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include automotive, general industrial maintenance, and agricultural equipment.
