This o-ring is supplied in AS568-337 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 2.975 in (75.57 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.395 in (86.23 mm), catalogued under part number H70MD337. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Buna-N (Nitrile) offers strong abrasion and tear resistance, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. The compound resists many alcohols, greases and lubricants, and water. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving strong acids or ozone and direct sunlight call for a different compound.
