-004 BLACK BUNA 70D O-RING

H70MD004 is an AS568-004 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.21 in (5.33 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against greases and lubricants, many alcohols, and water. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where automotive brake fluid or strong acids are present.

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in general industrial maintenance, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and construction equipment.
