-016 BLACK BUNA 70D O-RING

Ordered as H70MD016, this is an AS568-016 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.614 in (15.6 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.754 in (19.15 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for low compression set under sustained load, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. This material stands up to petroleum-based oils, greases and lubricants, and water. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving ketones or polar solvents call for a different compound.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in automotive, agricultural equipment, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
