This o-ring is supplied in AS568-023 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 1.051 in (26.7 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.191 in (30.25 mm), catalogued under part number H70MD023. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. The compound resists propane and butane, hydraulic fluids, and greases and lubricants. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where ozone and direct sunlight or polar solvents are present.
