H70MD026 is an AS568-026 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.239 in (31.47 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.379 in (35.03 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The compound resists many alcohols, greases and lubricants, and petroleum-based oils. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving automotive brake fluid or polar solvents call for a different compound.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include automotive, agricultural equipment, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
