This o-ring is supplied in AS568-117 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 0.799 in (20.29 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.005 in (25.53 mm), catalogued under part number H70MD117. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Buna-N (Nitrile) offers low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Expect good resistance to hydraulic fluids, many alcohols, and propane and butane. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or polar solvents are present.
