H70MD132 is an AS568-132 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.737 in (44.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.943 in (49.35 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to greases and lubricants, petroleum-based oils, and hydraulic fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) offers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving ketones or automotive brake fluid call for a different compound.

This item is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include automotive, general industrial maintenance, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
